Alena is originally from Russia and grew up in France. She has been playing tennis since the age of 6.
She Played for Seward Community College and achieved impressive accolades during her time at Seward County, including: Region VI No. 3 Singles Championship and Region VI No. 2 Doubles Championship.

Alena was recognized on the Athletic Director Fall Honor Roll and Athletic Director Spring Honor Roll.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Sport Psychology and a Master’s degree in Human Performance.
