Club Rules

GUESTS
  • All Members and/or guests must register at the entrance desk when entering the Clubhouse.
  • All tennis-playing guests must be registered by a member prior to beginning play. Tennis registration can be accomplished by signing the guest book located at the front desk.
  • Guests must be registered by a Member 18-years of age or older who will be responsible for the guest and the payment of any guest fees, if required.
  • Member’s children who are 21 years of age or older, regardless of whether they live in the household, must be registered as guests.
  • Daily Guest fees are $15.00 for adults and children (18 years of age or less), and apply if the guest swims or plays tennis, or in the judgment of the Club management, uses the Club and its facilities for more than just a casual short-term visit. The maximum number of visits per calendar year will be limited to ten (10) days.
  • Payment for guest fees is due on the day the guest uses the Club.
  • Guests are not allowed to come and go. Once a guest leaves the Club, he will be charged a guest fee to come back into the Club.
  • Members are not allowed to bring more than 5 guests at one time.
  • Please remember it is within compliance for the Manager on Duty to ask for the identification of a member or proof of registration for a guest at any time on PRC grounds.
  • Guest fees may be waived when included in a participation fee charged for Club or PRC sponsored events.
  • Guest fees are waived for babysitters, while accompanying member’s children requiring supervision. Babysitters may not register guests and must be registered by an email to the Club Manager from a Member.
  • Guest fees are waived for member’s grandchildren (18 years of age or less) when registered by such Member.
  • Guest fees are waived for children less than two (2) years of age.
    xiv. The Board of Directors, at its discretion, may suspend guest privileges to any person upon a finding that guest privileges are being abused.
  • A fine of $ 75.00 shall be assessed to members that fail to pay guest fees as outlined above.
CHILDREN ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT
  • At all times, children under nine years of age must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • A child is considered the same as a nine (9) year old if they have completed the third grade and will be nine years old by December 31.
  • After 6:00 PM, the age of children requiring adult supervision is under thirteen (13) years of age.
  • While an under age child is swimming, the responsible adult must remain in the pool, on the pool apron, or under the covered patio area.
  • While an under age child is playing tennis, the responsible adult must remain in the same area with the child under his supervision.
  • The only exception to this rule is when the under age child is directly supervised by a Board approved instructor or coach.​
SWIMMING POOL
  • The lifeguard(s) in charge of the pools shall have sole jurisdiction over pools and shall have authority to restrict any person from use of the pools for the balance of the day for violation of pool or swimming rules.
  • All persons using the large swimming pool must wear swimsuits. Small children (six (6) years of age and under) may use the wading pool attired as parents see fit, provided they are clothed and kept sanitary.
  • Bathers must shower before entering the pool.
  • Food and drinks are not permitted within 4-feet of the water edge.
  • Running, shoving or throwing others in the pool is not permitted.
  • Attempting swimming or diving feats beyond a person’s skill or endurance is not permitted.
  • Throwing anything or “snapping” towels is not permitted.
  • Use of large swimming aids, rafts, etc., or participating in games such as “catch” shall not be permitted when the lifeguard on duty deems such activity is detrimental to the safety or enjoyment of others.
  • Scuba or diving equipment of any type is not permitted in the pool at any time.
  • Neither electrical equipment nor appliances of any type is permitted within twelve (12) feet of water edge.
  • Members or guests shall not tamper with pool equipment, alarm equipment or any other Club equipment.
  • The pool may not be used by any person who has a communicable disease, open sores, or any other condition considered dangerous to the health and safety of others.
  • No small balls, inner tubes, inflatable rafts, water guns, or any object deemed objectionable or dangerous by pool personnel in the pool area.
  • No glass in any form, except for glasses or sunglasses.
  • No hanging on the lane ropes or ladders.
  • Swim Diapers are required for those who need them in the main pool.
  • When lifeguards are not present or the club is not officially open, all members are responsible for their families and will use the pool and surrounding club grounds at their own risk. Guests are not allowed to use the pool when the club is not officially open.
  • The pool, tennis courts, and pool deck will close when lightning is spotted less than 5 miles away from the club and will remain closed for 20 minutes after the last strike.
MISCELLANEOUS
  • The Club is a non-smoking facility.
  • No outside beverages or food of any kind are allowed on Club premises without prior written approval of PRC.
  • No outside speakers are allowed on Club premises without prior written approval of PRC.
  • If you see someone abusing the facilities, please notify the Manager on duty.
  • Please remember to pick up your own litter and remind children to properly dispose of trash.
  • Parents please be mindful of your children’s behavior while at PRC. The lifeguards and managers have rules that they must enforce to make it safe for everyone.
  • If a child is continually corrected throughout the day, the club manager will send the child home.
  • The bar room at the Clubhouse is restricted to adult usage (21-years of age and older).
  • No Club equipment may be removed from Club property.
  • Members and guests shall wear shirts and shoes in the Clubhouse at all times. Wearing of wet bathing suits in the Clubhouse is specifically prohibited.
  • No loitering or congregation will be allowed inside or outside the Club entrance. Persons awaiting transportation should not impede registration of Members and guests.
  • Bicycles, mopeds, motorcycles, and cars must be properly parked to in the designated areas in the parking lot. The club is not responsible for theft or vandalism of vehicles.
  • Roller-skating, skateboarding or water guns are not permitted on tennis courts, in the Clubhouse, or anywhere on Club grounds.
  • No pets of any kind are allowed on any part of Club facilities

TENNIS RULES

Court Preferences & Reservations

  • Courts can be reserved, for no more than 1.5 consecutive hours, by any one person on a first come first serve basis and must be reserved 24 hours in advance. This will be done by going to the page on the club website under (Tennis, Tennis Schedule) and following the listed instructions. Anyone that plays in a group under someone else’s reservation cannot make a reservation for the 1.5 hours that follow the reservation they just played under.
  • Courts may not be used for non-tennis activities (skates, bicycles, skateboards, etc. are not permitted).
  • Court reservations can be made through website up to 48 hours in advance.
  • A player awaiting the arrival of an opponent may not hold a court vacant.
  • Rallying or practice warm-ups count towards the allotted time limits.
  • Guests may be accompanied by a PRC member who is required to remain with and be responsible for the paid guest.
  • Guests must play on the same court as their host or hostess.


General Tennis Rules

  • Proper attire required at all times – NO bathing suits.
  • Tennis court shoes only – NO cross trainers.
  • Tennis etiquette must be observed when entering/exiting courts.
  • NO foul language!
  • NO glass on courts.
  • Water & sports drinks ONLY on courts.
  • Absolutely NO food on courts (this includes gum).
  • Parents, please be aware of your child’s behavior while at PRC.
  • Guests must be checked in prior to play.
  • Do not walk or stand in back or between courts while play is in progress.
  • Tennis ball cans and other debris should be placed in the trash receptacles provided.
  • Sitting or leaning on nets is strictly prohibited as it is damaging to the nets.
